• On 12th March at the Royal Castle in Warsaw international conference “NATO’s New Strategic Concept – Global, Transatlantic and Regional Challenges and the role of Central Europe was held with the participation of NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Minister of National Defence Bogdan Klich and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski.
  • Ministry of National Defence kindly invite media representatives especially photographers with wide portfolio to attend press tour which will be organized by MoD in April and September 2010.
  • On 11th March, Minister Bogdan Klich contributed to the debate held at Warsaw University entitled: "NATO, Poland and security in 21st century". Minister Klich delivered a forweword in the 1st panel What kind of NATO we need, and later on, will participate in the debate attempting to answer the questions: whether external security environment is actually worsening, what is our allied value and what we should expect instead?
  • At the invitation of the chief of the General Staff Gen. Franciszek Gągor, Eurocorps commander LtGen. Hans-Lothar Domröse paid a visit to Poland on 28th February - 3rd March. It was his first official visit in Poland since he assumed command in September 2009.

Final checkout before Afghanistan
On 25th February Media Day is held as part of the exercise "Lampart 10". This is the final test for the troops of "Bravo" Combat Team to be deployed to Afghanistan as part of 7th tour of duty in the nearest future.

Polish-British „Pashtun Rat” exercise
Nearly 180 soldiers from 10th Mechanized Battalion of Świętoszów took part in the "Pashtun Rat” exercise held in southern England in January and early February to prepare for the eighth tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Officers of 10th Armoured Swietoszow Cavalry Brigade participated in the "Unified Endeavor" multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell (USA) early February.

Polish Parliament ratified SOFA
On 12th February, at the 60th sitting Polish Parliament ratified the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the Government of the United States on the Status of the US Armed Forces stationing on Polish territory (SOFA supplementary) signed in Warsaw on 11 December 2009.
